Job Description
- Investigate deposition process parameters and their influence on film architecture on MEMS/miniaturized substrates.
- Engineer and tailor film architectures for sensing, including thickness gradients and hierarchical structures.
- Benchmark and compare various deposition techniques, including flame aerosol deposition, aerosol jet printing, and inkjet printing.
- Establish process–architecture–performance relationships linking film morphology to sensitivity and stability.
- Integrate sensing films into MEMS devices, considering packaging and electrical interfacing.
- Characterize and test sensors, evaluating calibration, repeatability, and aging effects.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams in materials science, microfabrication, and device physics.
- Prepare manuscripts and presentations to disseminate research findings.
