Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Telecommunications Networks research or a comparable domain (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science).
- Experience with network protocol design, implementation, and security analysis.
- Familiarity with quantum key distribution and post-quantum cryptography.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, work in a dynamic team, and coach students.
- Proficient in English with strong communication and leadership skills.
Job Description:
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Address integration challenges of quantum key distribution (QKD) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) into network security frameworks and protocols.
- Design and implement relevant protocols and software components.
- Benchmark and evaluate performance impacts on networks.
- Monitor and analyze security for quantum safe communications.
- Collaborate with industrial partners and be part of the Quantum communications team within the Electro-Optical Communications group.
