Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Telecommunications Networks research or a comparable domain (Electrical Engineering or Computer Science).
  • Experience with network protocol design, implementation, and security analysis.
  • Familiarity with quantum key distribution and post-quantum cryptography.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, work in a dynamic team, and coach students.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication and leadership skills.

Job Description:

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

  • Address integration challenges of quantum key distribution (QKD) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) into network security frameworks and protocols.
  • Design and implement relevant protocols and software components.
  • Benchmark and evaluate performance impacts on networks.
  • Monitor and analyze security for quantum safe communications.
  • Collaborate with industrial partners and be part of the Quantum communications team within the Electro-Optical Communications group.
