Job Description
The Postdoctoral Associate position will support research in the Becker Lab, focusing on plant microbiome studies in controlled environments and field settings. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating plant phenotypes and sample collection.
- Performing DNA extractions and metabarcoding library preparation.
- Analyzing microbiome data and conducting quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis.
- Summarizing results for presentations and manuscript contributions.
- Supervising undergraduate and graduate trainees in both lab and field research techniques.
