Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualification: Ph. D in Physics or related subject with a minimum of three years of experience in Research and Development in Academic Institutions or S&T organizations and Scientific Activities and Services.

Desirable Qualification:

Strong background in soft condensed matter physics, statistical mechanics, and computational modeling of disordered materials. Experience in performing molecular dynamics to study the mechanical properties of glassy materials. Proficiency in programming and data analysis.

Max. Age limit- 42 Years

Job/Position Description-

Project scientist -II (Remuneration Rs. 67,000 /- plus 24% HRA)

Applications are invited for temporary position of Project Scientist -II sanctioned in the SUPRA sponsored project titled “Fatigue Failure in Amorphous Solids” under the Principal Investigator Prof. Srikanth Sastry, Theoretical Sciences Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560 064.
