Eligibility / Qualification

Essential Requirements:

  • PhD (degree already obtained) in Biosciences, Animal and Food Science, Crop Science, or related fields
  • Strong interest in genomics, microbiology, and environmental sustainability
  • Applicants must be under 36 years of age

Desirable Assets:

  • Experience with microbiological techniques
  • Hands-on knowledge of GC/HPLC
  • Experience in omics data analysis

Job Description

The selected post-doctoral researcher will:

  • Conduct research on genomic and metabolic flux balance approaches
  • Study and select lactic acid bacteria for improved silage production
  • Develop innovative biotechnological strategies in collaboration with industry partners
  • Contribute to projects aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing sustainability in agriculture
  • Analyze and interpret microbiological and omics datasets
  • Disseminate research findings through reports and scientific publications
