Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree (MSc or equivalent) in Data Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related disciplines.
- Excellent programming skills.
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.

IDEAS offers an innovative approach to PhD research, allowing candidates to select and rank their preferred project topics. The program typically features a pool of project topics exceeding the number of available positions, ensuring a match based on candidates’ strengths and interests. Applications can also include self-developed project ideas through an Innovation Track. The recruitment process emphasizes equity among candidates and areas of research.

- Select Projects: Review and rank at least three project topics or propose an original project idea.

- Cover letter detailing motivation, research interests, and relevant experience.
- Master’s certificate (digital copy).
- Transcript of records.
- Two reference letters.
