Job Description
- Differentiate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) into podocytes and optimize a human podocyte cell line.
- Generate and establish new iPS cell lines from patients with chronic kidney disease and healthy controls.
- Conduct molecular biological, histological, and cell biological characterization of iPS cells and derived podocytes.
- Plan, execute, and analyze cell biological experiments.
- Prepare, analyze, and present data for scientific publications and research grant applications.
- Engage in teaching activities in cell biology, histology, and/or microscopy.
Requirements
- Completed PhD in Life Sciences.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a strong interest in interdisciplinary research environments.
- Passion for experimental research, especially in cell culture, histological staining techniques, and microscopy analysis.
- Independent, structured, and responsible work ethic.
- Motivation to actively participate in scientific publications and grant applications.
