Job Description:
The laboratory of Assistant Professor Lukas Muechler is looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to work on various projects, including:
- Modeling molecular materials using model and ab-initio calculations.
- Topological characterization of molecules and chemical reactions.
- Development of structure-to-property rules.
- Nonadiabatic dynamics for electrocyclization reactions.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in computational chemistry, multi-reference quantum chemistry, nonadiabatic dynamics, or metadynamics. Candidates will be expected to lead individual projects and contribute to collaborative research.
