The Postdoctoral Fellow will play a crucial role in cutting-edge freshwater research, contributing to various government-funded programs. Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting bioinformatic analyses for metabarcoding and metagenomics
- Analyzing large eDNA/eRNA datasets and environmental metadata
- Supporting postgraduate students with lab work, data analysis, and writing
- Collaborating with iwi and partner organizations to promote sustainable freshwater management
