Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD/doctoral degree in a relevant field.

- Skills in acoustic identification of bird species; additional skills in orthopterans and bats are beneficial.
- Proficient in English; German is an asset.
- Proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Job Description
- Conduct independent scientific research in biotic interactions and biodiversity-ecosystem service relationships.
- Quantify soundscape composition and assess acoustic diversity.
- Carry out mapping of soundscape aesthetic values and identify key drivers.
- Analyze bioacoustic data and assess human perception of visual and acoustic diversity via experimental approaches.
- Collaborate within international networks and with interdisciplinary teams.
- Supervise PhD, MSc, and BSc students.
- Disseminate research findings through publications and at conferences.
