Research Area:

The PhD candidate will focus on:

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Relevant Master’s degree (Physics, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, or equivalent).
  • Strong academic background with an average grade of B or higher.
  • Good oral and written presentation skills in English.
  • Experience with experimental work in related fields.
  • Basic programming skills required.

Description:

The successful candidate will engage in advanced studies utilizing state-of-the-art techniques in X-ray imaging and electron microscopy. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing in-situ and ex-situ analyses of solidification microstructures.
  • Developing high-throughput data analysis methods.
  • Collaborating closely with NTNU, SINTEF, and industrial partners.
  • Contributing to the SFI FAST research objectives.
