Eligibility / Qualification:
- Required: PhD (or foreign equivalent) in hand by the start of the appointment.
- Preferred: A demonstrated record of excellence in advancing artificial intelligence, including a strong publication history in top-tier venues and significant contributions to AI.
Research Area:
- Novel algorithms and architectures
- Mathematical and ethical foundations of AI
- Applications in diverse fields including art, biological sciences, business, climate sciences, health sciences, humanities, journalism, libraries, music, materials discovery, physical sciences, and social sciences.
Job Description:
- Conduct groundbreaking research that transforms current AI paradigms.
- Engage in modest service duties related to the missions of AI3, such as public engagement.
- Collaborate with AI3 members and other organizations on mutual research interests.
- Participate in additional projects as assigned.
