Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or Genomics.
  • Experience or knowledge of next-generation sequencing technologies, bioinformatics, statistical method development, or epidemiology.
  • Strong programming skills (preferably in Python).
  • Well-developed research skills for presenting findings.
  • Experience of training staff and preparing publications.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Apply evolutionary genetic approaches to study disease vectors.
  • Design, develop, and implement genomic tools and methods related to insecticide resistance and other related topics.
  • Provide supervision to students and technical staff.
  • Develop novel projects and contribute to writing research grants.
  • Disseminate findings through publications and conferences.
