Eligibility/Qualification:

  • For Level A:
  • Completion or near completion of a PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Quantitative Genetics, Crop Genomics, Plant Breeding).
  • Emerging research profile in quantitative genetics or plant breeding.
  • Evidence of publications in reputable refereed journals.
  • For Level B:
  • Growing research profile in quantitative genetics or plant breeding.
  • Track record of publications and experience in securing external research funding.
  • Evidence of quality teaching and student supervision.

Job Description:

  • Research Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to an innovative research program in quantitative genetics and genomics.
  • Collaborate on research projects, manage research funding, and publish in reputable journals.
  • Utilize cutting-edge methodologies in predictive breeding.
  • Supervision and Researcher Development:
  • Supervise students and manage research personnel, providing feedback and training in predictive breeding.
  • Engage in internal service roles and administrative functions.
  • Citizenship and Service:
