Eligibility/Qualification
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in Chemistry or Physics, specializing in electrocatalysis.
- Demonstrated experimental experience in electrochemistry and electrocatalysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Personal skills: cooperative, communicative, attentive, self-motivated, and open-minded.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
- Experience in electrochemical surface characterization and electrodeposition methods.
- Familiarity with electron microscopy and diffraction methods.
Job Description
The postdoctoral position will focus on:
- Investigating the effects of different solvents on particle shape during pulsed electrodeposition.
- Conducting electrochemical characterization to study prepared surfaces.
- Evaluating deposited particles in electrocatalytic reactions, particularly converting biomass-derived feedstocks into valuable chemicals.
