Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of electronic structure theory and computational chemistry.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Fortran.
  • Knowledge of electronic spectroscopies is advantageous.
  • Strong motivation and commitment to advancing scientific research in theoretical spectroscopy.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).

Job Description

  • Develop advanced electronic structure methods for emission spectra calculations in solution.
  • Create efficient workflows combining various levels of electronic structure theory.
  • Conduct benchmark studies to validate methods.
  • Analyze experimental spectra and optical properties of organic dyes.
  • Present results at conferences and in publications.
  • Collaborate nationally and internationally.
