Research Area:

Adipose tissue and inter-organ communication (adipose-liver-gut axis) in obesity and metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Required Education: PhD in relevant field
  • Required Related Experience: Experience in life sciences or related disciplines
  • Preferred Background: Knowledge in obesity, diabetes, and cancer metabolism

Job Description:

The Post-doctoral Scholar will:

  • Conduct independent research under guidance, including publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Design and execute in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro experiments utilizing various cellular systems and mouse models.
  • Perform mouse metabolic phenotyping, including glucose and lipid metabolism, glucose-stimulated insulin secretion, energy expenditure, and histology.
  • Apply molecular biology techniques such as CRISPR gene editing and AAV-mediated gene delivery.
