Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in life/natural sciences (ideally in systems biology, bioinformatics, or related field)
- Background in bioinformatics or experience in analyzing large-scale biological datasets
- Interest in microbiology or infection biology
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Job Description
- Investigate differences in yeast species and isolates causing bloodstream infections.
- Analyze molecular and physiological adaptations of hosts and pathogens
- Integrate and analyze large-scale molecular, phenotypic, and clinical data.
- Apply systems biology approaches to omics data (metabolomics and proteomics)
- Design and contribute to experimental studies (e.g., mass spectrometry-based analyses)
- Interpret results in biological and medical contexts
