Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in life/natural sciences (ideally in systems biology, bioinformatics, or related field)
  • Background in bioinformatics or experience in analyzing large-scale biological datasets
  • Interest in microbiology or infection biology
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Job Description

  • Investigate differences in yeast species and isolates causing bloodstream infections.
  • Analyze molecular and physiological adaptations of hosts and pathogens
  • Integrate and analyze large-scale molecular, phenotypic, and clinical data.
  • Apply systems biology approaches to omics data (metabolomics and proteomics)
  • Design and contribute to experimental studies (e.g., mass spectrometry-based analyses)
  • Interpret results in biological and medical contexts
