Eligibility/Qualification
- Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.) in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Chemical Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Candidates with non-US degrees may need to provide proof of degree equivalency.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in organic synthesis of radiohalogenation precursors
- Experience in handling radioactivity
- Experience in performing radiochemical synthesis with iodine radionuclides and astatine-211

- Lead independent & collaborative research aligned with the goals of Dr. Micheal Zalutsky’s laboratory.
- Contribute to the design and synthesis of site-specifically radiohalogenated biomolecules.
- Engage in translational research bridging fundamental chemistry and clinical applications.
- Comply with responsible conduct in research and maintain laboratory notebooks.
- Discuss research activities openly with the mentor and maintain collegial conduct.
