Job Description:

The position focuses on:

  • Developing and applying scalable molecular dynamics (MD) and multiscale simulation workflows for biomolecular systems.
  • Integrating AI/ML approaches with physics-based simulations for discovery and predictive modeling.
  • Bridging molecular to network-level modeling, contributing to cross-scale frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize simulation codes for leadership-class HPC architectures.
  • Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams in biology, chemistry, and computer science.
  • Publish findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. (within 0โ€“5 years) in relevant fields.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with MD simulation tools (e.g., NAMD, GROMACS) and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and a solid publication record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in atomistic simulation methods.
  • Familiarity with proteinโ€“protein interactions and systems biology models.
  • Experience with machine learning in molecular simulation.
