Research Area:
Plant Developmental Biology, specifically focusing on flower development using Arabidopsis thaliana.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or near completion in plant cell, developmental or molecular biology, or a related field.
- Proven track record in scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Expertise in plant genetics, cloning, biochemistry, gene expression, and protein-protein interaction analysis.
- Experience in dissection and confocal imaging is a plus.
Job Description:
- Collaborate within an international ERC-funded team focused on re-engineering a complex developmental system.
- Generate and maintain transgenic Arabidopsis lines containing GFP-based polarity reporters.
- Document protein expression and localization patterns using live imaging and whole-mount immunolocalization.
- Conduct fine-scale perturbation experiments to test regulatory hypotheses.
- Supervise PhD students and coordinate research activities with international collaborators.
- Interpret data, write manuscripts, and present findings at conferences.
