Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in: Bioelectrochemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, electrochemistry, biophysics, or cell biology.
- Language: Excellent spoken and written English.
- Experience: Significant experience in relevant research fields, including:
- Electrogenic microorganisms culture.
- Extracellular electron uptake.
- Experimental design, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Preferred Skills
- Coding skills (R, Python, LabTalk, etc.).
- Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentoring or supervising students.
- Strong publication record.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Investigate extracellular electron uptake in cyanobacteria.
- Use bioelectrochemical methods, spectroscopy, and multi-omics approaches.
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary research and influence the development of their project.
- Contribute to significant advancements in the understanding of biological electricity generation and utilization.
