Job Description
The Photonic Devices group at Tyndall National Institute is looking for Research Scientists to join their team, focusing on the development of active components and their integration into compact photonic circuits. Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement robust fabrication processes for compound semiconductor, lithium niobate, and SiN components.
- Conduct high-quality device fabrication with appropriate in-line testing.
- Integrate components with waveguides and characterize their electro-optic performance.
- Disseminate research findings through publications and conferences.
- Participate in grant proposal writing and mentoring activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and health and safety standards.
