Eligibility/Qualification
- Must hold an earned PhD or Doctorate of Public Health degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
- Degree must be obtained no earlier than August 2025.
- All doctoral degree requirements must be completed by August 14, 2026.
- Applicants must be willing to be physically present at Berkeley for the duration of the fellowship.
Job Description
The fellowship is composed of a 50% research and a 50% professional practice component.
Research Responsibilities:
- Engage in institutional and personal research projects.
- Collaborate with assigned units on institutional research, which may vary in methodologies and scopes.
- Prepare research for publication and conference presentations.
Professional Practice Responsibilities:
- Participate in various tasks related to higher education management and leadership.
- Facilitate meetings, manage projects, and sit on committees aligned with unit priorities.
- Gain managerial experience while contributing to administrative functions.
