Eligibility/Qualification

RequirementPreferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
Proficiency in English (written & spoken).Expertise in batteries and electrochemical characterization techniques.
Strong laboratory and instrumental skills.Experience in NMR and/or Raman spectroscopy.
Awareness of diversity and equal treatment topics.Innovative mindset with collaborative skills.

Job Description

The postdoctoral position is focused on advanced physical and electrochemical characterization of developed materials for Li-ion batteries. Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the structure and surface properties of materials in contact with electrolytes.
  • Investigating electrochemical mechanisms and degradation.
  • Analyzing the relationship between the manufacturing process and materials properties.
  • Employing techniques such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, NMR, electron microscopy (SEM/TEM), in situ mass spectrometry (OLMS), and Confocal Raman spectroscopy.
