Research Area:

The focus is on molecular self-assembly and understanding interactions at bio-nano interfaces, combining elements from materials science, chemistry, life sciences, and engineering.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in materials science, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, bioengineering, nanoscience, or a related discipline
  • Strong experimental background in soft matter, colloid science, or advanced nanomaterials characterization
  • Hands-on experience with advanced characterization techniques (e.g., atomic force microscopy, spectroscopy)

Job Description:

  • Develop and apply nanostructured and mesoporous material architectures for biosensing applications.
  • Investigate colloidal and biomolecular interactions, focusing on adsorption, binding, and assembly phenomena.
  • Collaborate within a highly interdisciplinary team, contributing to experimental methodologies and data analysis.
  • Mentor junior researchers, contribute to publications, and support grant development.
