Eligibility/Qualification
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and external collaborators.
- Knowledge and experience in parallel programming, simulation, data analysis of economic and social phenomena, and AI technologies.
- For Research Scientist/Postdoctoral roles: A Ph.D. in a relevant field (or expected) is required.
- For Research Associate: A Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is essential.
Job Description
Under the guidance of Team Principal Nobuyasu Ito, the successful candidates will:
- Conduct research projects focusing on data analysis and simulations of economic and social phenomena.
- Collaborate with RIKEN, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and the University of Tokyo Global Commons Center.
- Utilize large-scale computational resources, including the supercomputer Fugaku and GPU machines, to analyze social data, develop AI-enabled simulation approaches, and predict complex socioeconomic behaviors.
