Eligibility/Qualification
- Masterโs degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, or related fields (biomedicine, chemical biology, molecular/cell biology).
- Enthusiasm for learning and cooperative work attitude.
- Strong interest in biochemical and cell biology or chemical biology.
- Familiarity with biochemical and analytical methods, cell culture techniques, and/or animal handling is desirable.
- Experience in bioinformatics or computational biology is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a highly motivated approach to conducting interdisciplinary research.
- Very good command of English.
Job Description
- Engage in projects investigating in vivo lipid metabolism at the organ level.
- Utilize state-of-the-art alkyne lipid tracers and modern mass spectrometry lipidomics.
- Work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph Thiele and PD Dr. L. Kuerschner.
- Collaborate within an international team of scientists.
- Participate in graduate school activities and benefit from supportive mentoring.
