Job Description
The PhD project will focus on improving the recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) to enhance adaptability, flexibility, and efficiency in existing recycling processes. Key objectives include:
- Increasing cost and recovery efficiency in battery recycling technologies.
- Developing solutions to efficiently recycle diverse feedstocks, including mixed lithium-ion battery chemistries.
- Considering safety, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and overall economic viability in solutions development.
- Utilizing digital technologies for process improvements.
Candidates will be required to complete PhD courses (30 ECTS), gain teaching experience, and participate in international research stays (3-6 months).
