Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning and computer vision.
- Excellent programming skills (especially in Python).
- Strong mathematical foundation in statistics and probability, calculus, and linear algebra.
- Prior publications in relevant venues are a plus.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
Job Description
As a PhD candidate, you will:
- Conduct fundamental and applied research on foundation models for oncology.
- Develop novel pre-training and post-training methods for oncological data.
- Design architectures that model spatial, temporal, and multimodal structure.
- Evaluate models on clinically relevant tasks such as detection, segmentation, and disease progression modelling.
- Collaborate with clinicians and researchers, ensuring translational impact in healthcare.
- Complete and defend a PhD thesis within the official appointment period.
