Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong background in machine learning and computer vision.
  • Excellent programming skills (especially in Python).
  • Strong mathematical foundation in statistics and probability, calculus, and linear algebra.
  • Prior publications in relevant venues are a plus.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.

Job Description

As a PhD candidate, you will:

  • Conduct fundamental and applied research on foundation models for oncology.
  • Develop novel pre-training and post-training methods for oncological data.
  • Design architectures that model spatial, temporal, and multimodal structure.
  • Evaluate models on clinically relevant tasks such as detection, segmentation, and disease progression modelling.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and researchers, ensuring translational impact in healthcare.
  • Complete and defend a PhD thesis within the official appointment period.
