A Postdoctoral Associate position in synthetic chemistry is available in the TENG laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX). This interdisciplinary group focuses on early-stage drug discovery efforts through medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and molecular cell biology. The lab is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate with a proven track record in synthetic or medicinal chemistry to join their team and contribute to advancing cancer research. The successful candidate will work within the Targeted Protein Degradation space.

Job Description:

  • Comply with intellectual property compliance requirements of the institute and laboratory.
  • Maintain honesty and integrity when handling raw experimental data.
  • Design practical synthetic routes for target molecules.
  • Deliver target molecules in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Document and present experimental results professionally.
  • Contribute to fostering a laboratory culture that emphasizes urgency and scientific excellence.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $62,232

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
