Job Description
The successful candidate will contribute to building and validating an architecture where intelligent “agents” co-design end-to-end transmit/receive processing chains. Key responsibilities include:
- DSP Research: Developing and benchmarking components for modulation, coding, and equalization.
- AI Implementation: Creating multi-agent RL workflows to optimize system-level feasibility.
- LLM-Assisted Engineering: Contributing to domain-adapted tools for proposing DSP structures.
- Verification: Validating designs using MATLAB, GNU Radio, and automated test environments.
- Hardware Evaluation: Bridging algorithmic design with real-world RF and hardware-in-the-loop experiments.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit their application materials through the official UCI Recruit portal. Required materials include:
- An updated Curriculum Vitae (C.V.).
- Contact information for 3–5 references.
- Optional: Cover letter, Statement of Research, and Reflective Teaching and Mentoring Statement.
