Eligibility / Qualification
- Education: A degree equivalent to a Danish Master’s degree (180 ECTS / 3-year BSc + 120 ECTS / 2-year MSc) in chemistry, physics, material science, or a closely related field.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Desirable Experience:
- Fluorescence spectroscopy, TCSPC, and time-resolved spectroscopy.
- Molecular materials and low-dimensional materials synthesis/characterization.
- Nanoparticles and bio-conjugation techniques.
- Attributes: Curious mindset with a strong passion for research and academic publication.
Job Description
As a PhD fellow enrolled at the PhD School at the Faculty of SCIENCE, responsibilities include:
- Carrying out an independent research project under supervision.
- Completing PhD courses equivalent to approximately 30 ECTS credits.
- Participating in active research environments, including a research stay at an external institution (preferably abroad).
- Performing teaching and knowledge dissemination duties.
- Authoring scientific papers aimed at high-impact journals.
- Writing and defending a PhD thesis based on the research project.
