About- Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) is pursuing research in the area of advanced Semi- conductor Materials and devices. Some of the research areas include development of ccnupounds semieounductors (bulk crystal and Epi- layer structure), MEMS, MMIC’s, Acoustic Sensor Systetn. laser diodes. IR sensors, Nano-Technology etc. The laboratory is equipped with state of art material preparation, chalacterization. device fabrication and circuit design tucilities applications are invited from bright and young talent tör 06-positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 02 positions of Research Associate to work in challenging area of research of national importance.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Research Associate	02	Physics/ Electronics/ Material/ Mechanical Science	Essentials Ph.D. degree in Physics/ Electronics/Material Science Desirable: Research Experience in the field or semiconductor materials and deuces. fabrication and characterization.
Junior Research Fellowship	06	Physics; Electronics/ Material/MachenieaI Science	M.Sc. in Physics/Electronics with first division NET or GATE (Valid)

Job/Position Description-

The tenure of Research Associate fellowship will be 02 years fixed and the initial tenure or the Junior Research Fellow fellowship will be 02 years and it may be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow as per DRI)O guidelines.

JRF (Junior Research Fellow):

Maximum Age: 28 years
Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA as per DRDO rules

RA (Research Associate):

Maximum Age: 35 years
