Eligibility/Qualification
To apply for the PhD programs, candidates must possess one of the following:
- A Master’s degree (Laurea specialistica or magistrale).
- An Italian degree awarded under the previous university system (prior to D.M. 509/1999).
- A second-level academic degree from an AFAM (Higher Education in Art and Music) institution.
- A foreign academic degree that is comparable in level and discipline to the Italian degree required for access, provided it grants admission to a PhD program in the country where it was issued.
(Note: Candidates already enrolled in a PhD program at Ca’ Foscari University or at partner institutions for inter-university courses are not eligible.)
Job Description
PhD candidates will engage in rigorous academic research within their chosen disciplines. Access to the PhD programs is restricted by a quota (numero chiuso). Candidates are selected via a public competition that assesses their academic background, research proposal, and performance in written and/or oral exams.

- Pay the mandatory €30.00 application fee (failure to pay will result in exclusion from the competition).
