Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must satisfy the qualifications prescribed under UGC/AICTE/COA Regulations for the respective discipline.
Professor
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (Engineering disciplines) or equivalent qualifications as applicable.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including 3 years at Associate Professor level or equivalent.
- Required research publications and Ph.D. supervision experience as prescribed.
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level (where applicable).
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including 2 years post-Ph.D.
- Minimum required research publications.
Assistant Professor
Engineering Departments:
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. (or Integrated M.Tech.) with First Class.
- Ph.D. desirable.
Applied Sciences & Humanities:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (where applicable).
Architecture & Planning:
- Qualifications as prescribed by the Council of Architecture (COA) and University regulations.
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions on the closing date of applications. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of NCT of Delhi rules.
Job Description
Selected candidates will be expected to:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed journals.
- Supervise Ph.D. and postgraduate students.
- Develop curriculum and contribute to academic innovation.
- Obtain sponsored research projects and consultancy.
- Participate in departmental and university administrative responsibilities.
- Contribute to academic outreach, industry collaboration, and institutional development.
Selection may include screening, written test (for Assistant Professor, if applicable), seminar/presentation, and interview.
