Eligibility/Qualification

  • BSc or MSc degree in Informatics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in (bio)informatics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Experience with workflow management systems (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake).
  • Experience with R, Linux, and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
  • Essential: Experience analyzing Proteomics, Next-Generation Sequencing, or Array technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).

Job Description

You will play a key role in developing robust computational workflows, supporting bioinformatics infrastructure, and driving reproducible, high-quality analyses. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on diverse research projects leveraging data from short- and long-read Whole-Genome Sequencing, transcriptomics, epigenomics, array genotyping, proteomics, and single-cell experiments. You will contribute to the entire workflow, from raw data processing to integrative analysis and visualization, collaborating with researchers to turn complex biological questions into insights.
