The selected PhD candidate will join the Mechanics of Materials and Constructions (MeMC) research group at VUB. The research group focuses on fundamental and applied research areas including:

  • Damage mechanics at material and structural levels
  • Non-destructive testing and experimental mechanics
  • Numerical and experimental modelling techniques
