Scholarship Description

The PhD project, supervised by Gianne Derks (Leiden University) and Sara Maad Sasane (Lund University), investigates nonlinear wave equations in spatially heterogeneous environments. The research will focus on understanding travelling waves and coherent structures through advanced mathematical methods including dynamical systems theory and functional analysis.
