Research Area

Eligibility / Qualification
- A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in an appropriate scientific discipline is required.
- A degree/background in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry is specifically required.
- Experience with molecular modeling is advantageous.
- Experience conducting structure–activity relationship (SAR) studies is preferred.
- Experience with high-throughput synthesis and/or solid-phase synthesis is desirable.
- Candidates should have strong laboratory, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Associate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and will:
- Design and synthesize molecules intended for biological studies.
- Review scientific literature and optimize experimental protocols.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze experimental results.
- Operate and interpret data from NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS instrumentation.
- Work collaboratively within research and project teams.
- Help identify solutions to challenges associated with existing lead molecules.
- Present research findings during laboratory and project-team meetings, seminars, conferences, and symposia.
- Contribute to scientific publications and grant proposals.
- Use relevant computational and visualization tools, including ChemDraw and PyMOL Viewer, along with standard Microsoft Office applications.
