Eligibility & Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in one or more of the following domains:
- Physics-based and numerical modeling
- Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Additive manufacturing & printed electronics
- Welding processes and robotics automation
- Strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Conduct original theoretical, computational, and experimental research in smart manufacturing systems.
- Develop physics-informed machine learning models and numerical simulations for advanced manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and contribute to high-impact journal publications and conference presentations.
- Assist with laboratory management, experimental setup, and project deliverables as needed.
