Eligibility & Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related biomedical discipline.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Experimental Execution & Design: Formulate hypotheses, design and execute laboratory experiments, troubleshoot assays, and analyze complex datasets.
- Independent Scientific Development: Develop critical thinking skills, long-term project planning, and specific aims to transition toward scientific independence.
- Scientific Communication: Prepare, draft, and edit manuscripts, scientific reports, abstracts, and grant applications. Present research findings at lab meetings, departmental seminars, and scientific conferences.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure reproducibility and accuracy of assays and protocols. Maintain compliance with institutional guidelines (e.g., ORCRA, Infection Control, biosafety protocols).
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Participate in intellectual discussions across departments, provide guidance to junior research staff/students, and assist in administrative laboratory tasks.
