Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Conduct Cutting-Edge Experiments: Perform advanced spin-optical measurements, including pulsed optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) on molecular spin systems in ground and excited states across variable temperatures (4–300 K).
  • Advance Quantum Probes: Develop capabilities for nanoscale sensing, enhanced coupling to target fields, and room-temperature operation in biosensing and spectroscopy.
  • Data & Output Management: Analyze experimental data, draft technical progress reports, and prepare high-impact journal manuscripts.
  • Collaborative Research: Work alongside internal and international collaborators (e.g., at Imperial, Cambridge, Tokyo) utilizing custom-synthesized molecular systems.
  • Mentorship & Group Activities: Assist in co-supervising PhD and undergraduate students, participating in seminars, and supporting grant/fellowship applications.
  • Teaching & Administration: Contribute to minor teaching activities (such as demonstrating) and general laboratory administration.
