Eligibility and Qualifications
- A PhD, or an equivalent foreign degree, in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline.

- Relevant research experience in materials chemistry is required.
- A background in battery research, particularly Li-ion batteries, is highly desirable.
- Competence in electrochemistry and electrochemical methods is strongly preferred.
- Experience with materials-characterization techniques, especially spectroscopic methods, is useful.
- Knowledge of physical chemistry or polymer chemistry will be an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
Job Description
The postdoctoral fellow will design and synthesize novel graphene-based nanocomposite materials and investigate their use in energy-storage devices. The primary focus of the project is the development of safe batteries capable of operating under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.

- Construct batteries and conduct electrochemical testing.
- Perform materials characterization using spectroscopy and microscopy.
