Scholarship Description
The successful candidate will be involved in designing and engineering peptides and proteins that self-assemble into functional nanomachines, such as motors and pumps. The lab provides access to in-house peptide synthesizers and a cutting-edge environment for building synthetic cells. Alongside research, the PhD student will co-teach organic chemistry lab courses, providing valuable teaching experience. The position offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment spanning chemistry, biophysics, and synthetic biology.
