Scholarship Description

The successful candidate will actively work on the preparation and defense of a PhD thesis in Medicinal Chemistry. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research on the design, synthesis, and characterisation of novel ferroptosis inhibitors.
  • Publishing scientific articles related to the research project.
  • Carrying out a limited number of teaching and research support tasks for the research group of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Antwerp (UAMC).

The scholarship offers:
