Manipal University Jaipur, India invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellow (PDF) from eligible and interested candidates
About-MUJ has launched a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) program to attract global research talent. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend of ₹70,000 and two contingency grants of ₹50,000 each per annum for professional and research expenses. Initially for one year, it may extend based on performance. Applicants must submit an online application with recommendation letters, academic credentials, and a statement of purpose. A selection committee evaluates candidates based on research credentials and proposed areas. Fellows must submit quarterly progress reports and are expected to publish two research papers in recognized journals. All research outcomes remain MUJ’s intellectual property, and fellows are entitled to annual paid leave.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Open to all nationalities.
- Must be under 35 years of age at the time of application submission.
- Must hold a Ph.D. from a recognized institute in India or abroad.
- Candidates who did PhD from MUJ, must have a minimum of one year of post-Ph.D. experience in a relevant field outside MUJ.
- Must have published at least four papers in the Q1/Q2 quartile, in the last two years.
- Should not be receiving any other external grants/financial aid/research assistance during the fellowship.
- Should not undertake any part-time or full-time employment (remunerative or honorary) for the entire fellowship duration.

To foster theoretical and conceptual advancements across various disciplines and to attract young research talent globally, MUJ has launched the Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) program. This initiative aims to support outstanding scholars from both India and abroad.
Fellowship Benefits
MUJ will award Post-Doctoral Fellowships in various disciplines with the following financial support:
- Monthly Stipend: ₹70,000
- Contingency Grant – Part I: ₹50,000 per annum
To be used for attending professional conferences, presentations, and covering publication charges.
- Contingency Grant – Part II: ₹50,000 per annum
To be used for procurement of consumables and necessary equipment.
Fellowship Duration
- The fellowship will initially be awarded for a period of one year, with a possible extension of an additional year based on satisfactory performance and progress that will be reviewed by a committee.

- MUJ will invite applications from eligible candidates throughout the year, as announced on its official website.
- Candidates must apply online using the prescribed format, accompanied by:
- Recommendation letters from two referees – Copies of academic and research credentials
- A statement of purpose (minimum 500 words).
- All applications will be reviewed and evaluated by a selection committee. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, which will be conducted once a month during the first week, subject to the availability of expert panel members.
