IIT Jammu, India invites applications for Postdoc Position in IIT Jammu from eligible and interested candidates

About- The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on 6th August 2016, and welcomed the first batch of students into the campus in Paloura, Jammu. In the initial phases, the establishment of IIT Jammu was done under the mentorship of IIT Delhi.

Eligibility/Qualification–

1.      Post-doctoral Fellow position:
a)      Ph.D from a reputed university/institute and an excellent track record and publications /patents in the area of semiconductor/VLSI design.
b)      Candidates who have submitted the thesis but degree not awarded can also apply. In this case consolidated salary will be 45000/- per month.
c)      Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL and EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, etc) is must.
d)      Candidates having experience of tapeout design will be given preference.
e)      Upper age limit: 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/women    candidates as per the norms.

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the various scientific posts to work on the sponsored research project of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) under Chip to Startup (C2S) initiative for the project entitled “Implantable Pacemaker Chip (iPACE-CHIP)” at Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu.

Aim of Project: The aim of the project is to design and fabricate the next generation chip (iPACECHIP) for implantable pacemaker to be used in the commercial product of Shree Pacetronix Ltd. with enhanced features.

Nature of job: Applicant should be capable of handling a project and carryout the research work in the area of Analog and Digital IC Design using industry standard integrated circuit technology including SCL180nm.

Post is initially for one year, which may be extended upto the duration of the project based on the satisfactory performance.
