Research/Job Area-
Recruitment is open across various faculties. Key areas include but are not limited to:
- Aerospace Engineering: Hypersonics, UAV/Drone technology, Avionics, and Satellite missions.
- Agricultural and Food Engineering: Precision agriculture, AI in farming, Food process automation, and Aquacultural engineering.
- Interdisciplinary Schools: Artificial Intelligence, Energy Science, Nano Science, Water Resources, and Intellectual Property Law.
- Sciences & Bioscience: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, and Biotechnology.

Eligibility/Qualification–
General Requirement:
A Ph.D. with first class (or equivalent) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, maintaining a consistently very good academic record. The Ph.D. must be awarded on or before the application date.
Specific Experience Requirements:
- Professor: Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with at least 4 years at the level of Associate Professor in top-tier institutions (IITs, IISc, IIMs, IISERs, etc.).
- Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
- Assistant Professor Grade I: At least 3 years of experience (excluding time spent pursuing a Ph.D.).
- Assistant Professor Grade II: For candidates with less than 3 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
Specialized Qualifications:
- Law (RGSoIPL): Ph.D. with first class in LLM after LLB. For procedural laws, 5 years of litigation experience in Indian courts is required.
- Education: Post-graduate degree and Ph.D. in concerned disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Economics). For Education-specific roles, an M.Ed. with a Ph.D. in Education is required.

Note: Gross emoluments include DA and Transport Allowance at prevailing rates. Assistant Professors (Grade I) move to Level 13A1 after 3 years of service.
