Eligibility/Qualification–
Experience for the Posts:

| Professor of Practice | A minimum of 15 years of teaching/research / industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards. OR The candidate should have 15 years of relevant experience and hold positions of responsibility in a reputed industry organization in a similar field. | ||
| Associate Professor of Practice | A minimum of 10 years of teaching / research / industrial experience, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or in any such other Indian or foreign Institution(s) of comparable standards. OR The candidate should have 10 years of relevant experience and hold positions of responsibility in a reputed industry/organization in a similar field. | ||
| Assistant Professor of Practice | At least 5 years of teaching/research / industrial experience, excluding the experience, gained while pursuing a Ph.D. OR The candidate should have 5 years of relevant experience and hold positions of responsibility in a reputed industry/organization in a similar field. |
Reservation: Without any compromise on qualification, experience and competence, reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD categories is applicable as per MoE/Government of India rules. The certificates issued by the Competent Authority needs to be attached in support of his/her claim.
Job/Position Description-
Duration of appointment – The appointment is on contract for a period of 5 years on a yearly renewal basis.
Consolidated remuneration (based on the recommendation of the selection committee) —
i) Professor of Practice – Rs. 1, 90,000 -2,10,000 /- per month
ii) Associate Professor of Practice — Rs. 1, 50,000 -1,80,000 /- per month
iii) Assistant Professor of Practice — Rs. 1, 20,000 -1,40,000 /- per month
Accommodation: Residential accommodation will be provided in the Campus subject to availability.
